Daniel Schwab, hailing from Afton, Wyoming, stands as both a respected community leader and a conscientious entrepreneur with a strong commitment to conservation. Born and raised in Afton, nestled within the picturesque Star Valley, Daniel holds a profound admiration for the local residents and the natural splendor of the area.

In his entrepreneurial journey, Daniel has been the driving force behind several thriving start-up enterprises, each dedicated to the restoration and preservation of fish and wildlife habitats. Notable among these ventures is Terrawest Conservancy, an initiative that has facilitated the creation of the second-largest conservation bank in the United States. Additionally, he founded Renegade Wyoming, an environmentally conscious development, and Feathered Hook, an exclusive private fly-fishing club.

From an early age, Daniel’s formative years were filled with exploration and play around the spring creeks in his vicinity. These childhood experiences left an indelible mark, endowing him with a profound respect and love for the natural world. As he matured, this affection became the guiding principle for all his personal and professional pursuits. As a businessman deeply committed to conservation, his enterprises not only safeguard the environment but also generate economic opportunities that bolster the local community and support landowners.

Beyond his entrepreneurial endeavors, Daniel Schwab is a devoted community leader, channeling his time and energy into numerous charitable initiatives, both at the local and national levels. He actively supports individuals whose potential he believes in, exemplified by his steadfast backing of Olympic wrestler Rulon Gardner. Whether through financial assistance or emotional support, Daniel played a pivotal role in Rulon’s remarkable journey to Olympic gold in 2000 and a subsequent bronze medal in 2004, even being by his side during the harrowing snowmobiling incident that led to Rulon’s frostbite and the loss of a toe, yet he still went on to win Olympic honors.

In addition to managing multiple business ventures, Daniel Schwab Wyoming boasts a long-standing involvement in ranch ownership, having overseen more than 24 ranches across Wyoming and Idaho. His extensive experience, spanning over 25 years, encompasses property research, acquisition, restoration, preservation, and marketing. One of his initial enterprises focused on acquiring distressed ranches and collaborating with experts to execute fish habitat restoration and preservation projects. Over the years, he has orchestrated property transactions involving conservation easements. Presently, Daniel is the proprietor of an expansive 890-acre ranch located in Big Piney, Wyoming.

Away from the professional realm, Daniel Schwab Wyoming finds solace in his love for fishing and possesses a notable talent for photography. Remarkably, he has chosen never to profit from his photographic works, viewing them as gifts from nature and a higher power. Furthermore, he cherishes quality time spent with his extensive and loving family. He and his wife, Kristi, have celebrated over 33 years of marriage, and they are the proud parents of five children, with eight (soon to be ten) grandchildren gracing their lives.
